Make Lurkers Click Comments

Today I read a [dutch] blog post called "STOP LURKING".

I'ts about those lurkers on websites, you?, that never ever drop a comment, and wants you silent witnesses to speak out and make yourselves public.
Then I came across this new blogging widget from PostReach.

'ClickComments make it easy for readers to respond to your posts

Only 0.1% of readers comment regularly! 5% occasionally comment and 94.9% never comment because they don't want to provide their email address or register.

Clickcomments eliminates these barriers and provides readers a simple and expressive ways to respond to your posts. Sometimes someone else has already written what a reader wanted to write and didn't want to write a "yeah, what she said" comment.'

I'm not sure wether I will stick to this widget.
For one the colours are too much carnival to my eyes.
What do you think?

* UPDATE *** UPDATE*** UPDATE*** UPDATE*

I emailed Hans at PostReach and wrote:
"[...] I think the colours are too carnivalesque and too bright for many blogger templates.
Could you also provide a version with monochromatic, let's say dark grey, buttons.
I think more bloggers will use this widget when they can pick from different styles and or colours.
Keep up the great work! [...]"

he replied:
"That's a great idea, we will put that into our
plans. [...]"

That's how cool the 'net is, instant feedback, and it shows.
I'm hoping to soon be able to update you with a version showing the over the top toyshop coloured buttons in a distinguished dark grey ;-]

* 2nd UPDATE * 2nd UPDATE * 2nd UPDATE * 2nd UPDATE *

more emailing, Hans wrote me:
"[...]We will be redoing our icons soon, so square, small, grey, black+white will be options that we look into.[...]"

I will love it.
