UN's envoy Jan Pronk, a former dutch Foreign Aid minister, was expelled from Sudan after government anger at comments he made on his personal website.BBC's Paul Reynolds might be right when he says : 'The attack on the government of Sudan by the UN's envoy Jan Pronk has perhaps pointed the way to a new kind of direct diplomacy - the diplomat's blog.'

ReplyDeleteit is indeed.... he will stay on till the end of this year and in the mean time Sudan started shelling villages of refugees in neighbouring Chad... the Darfur genocide by the Janjaweed supported by the sudanese government is just going on and on.
