Egypt, Egypt, Egytian Lover, Start of House Music.

In 1984 House Music began in Chicago with the beat and white funk from European Kraftwerk via Egypt, Egypt - Lance Taylor's predecessor of the American band African Bambaataa and and the Soul Sonic Force's Planet Rock. They were also the first prominent Afro-American to pride themselves in Native American costumes, while at the same time challenging and taunting white and black set ideas of race, color and background. 
Do you hear Kraftwerk already? Trans Europa Express? This record might have been the pivoting point in the creation of what we now know as House Music, in The Warehouse, Chicago.1984.

European electrofunk is real and did inspire a worldly sound that is as close and widespread as House Music.
